SMART Reading partnered with the UWCC and community volunteers to restore 543 used children’s books to like new condition! These will be gifted to children right here in Clatsop County.

SMART has been providing kids with free books and mobilizing volunteers to read with young readers for decades and recently started coordinating book drives, cleanings and distribution of "like new" books to kids.
